IIC is a student run organisation at ISCAL that simulates the rigour of a hedge fund or asset management firm: equity research, portfolio decisions, risk analysis and monthly publications, all run by students.
About Us
We replicate the structure and discipline of a professional asset management firm: equity research, portfolio construction and risk monitoring, all run by students. We organise events with finance professionals and publish member written research every month.
We develop analytical and strategic thinking by simulating the workflows of a real hedge fund or asset management firm. Members conduct equity research, manage a virtual portfolio and produce professional grade publications, building the kind of experience that stands out in finance recruitment.
Structure
Sets the club's annual vision, ensures alignment across departments and represents IIC externally.
Supports department Heads, keeps deadlines on track and steps in for the President when needed.
Fundamental analysis of companies across sectors. Analysts build financial models, write equity reports and pitch investment ideas, exactly as they would at a buy side firm.
Acts as the fund's risk and allocation desk. Reviews Research proposals, sizes positions, monitors drawdowns and tracks performance against benchmark, replicating a real PM function.
The backbone of the club. Manages communications, social media, internal logistics and events, ensuring professionalism in everything IIC does.

Published on the 10th of each month. Macro overview, stock picks, economic calendar, IIC Fund updates and more, written by our members.
