IIC is a student run academic organisation at ISCAL that complements classroom learning through research, portfolio management, M&A case work and financial publications.
About Us
We give students a structured environment to apply what they learn at ISCAL. Through research, portfolio work, transaction analysis and communications, members develop analytical skills, financial understanding and experience working in teams.
We develop analytical and strategic thinking by simulating the workflows of a real hedge fund or asset management firm. Members conduct equity research, manage a virtual portfolio and produce professional grade publications, building the kind of experience that stands out in finance recruitment.
Structure
Provides direction for the club, coordinates the academic cycle and represents IIC when needed.
Supports the departments, coordinates activities and helps keep projects moving throughout the academic year.
Studies companies and markets through fundamental and macroeconomic analysis, turning findings into clear written work.
Organises and follows the club's portfolio, bringing together research ideas and keeping track of the portfolio overview.
Reviews past mergers and acquisitions, focusing on transaction rationale, structure and the results that followed.
Supports the club through communications, recruitment, marketing and the organisation of its activities.
Inside IIC
Members explore markets, work through financial questions and share their thinking with the wider club.
Study companies, sectors and financial topics through student led work.
Discuss ideas, allocation and risk within the club’s portfolio activities.
Work through valuation and transaction questions in M&A projects.
Learn from other students through discussion, events and publications.

Our History
Preparation for the ISCAL Investment Club began in September 2025, ahead of its first academic cycle in January 2026. Since then, the club has grown through recruitment, publications and new academic activities.
The first steps are taken to prepare the ISCAL Investment Club and shape its plans and activities.
